Overview

EcoVerve is an AI-powered smartphone application designed to bridge the gap between environmental awareness and actionable behavioral change.

Grounded in the Double Diamond design process and aligned with UN SDGs 7, 12, and 13, the platform integrates digital sensors to provide real-time data on air quality, step counts, and travel-based carbon footprints. Key features include an AI gadget scanner for estimating device energy consumption and a geolocation tool that evaluates rooftop sunshine potential to provide customized guidance on solar or wind adoption. By allowing users to log sustainable activities and receive personalized data visualizations, the app reimagines mobile technology as a catalyst for promoting efficient energy use and resource conservation.

Launched in July 2026 with the Smart Energy Learning Centre (SELC) at Dhirubhai Ambani University, guided by Prof. (Dr.) Anupam Rana. The research behind it, "SustainFlow: AI-Driven Behavioral Evolution for Sustainability", is published in IEEE Xplore and was presented at ICEMCSI 2026.
